(Tennesse Jazz and Blues Society, Dec. 2002)
Over the years, One Street Over has been joined by a number of outstanding session players from the Nashville pool. Having recorded and toured with some of the top names in the industry, their résumé’s read like a "who's who" in music. With each of these musicians being in such great demand, the lineup has changed from time to time. One of our musicians won a Grammy touring as Larry Carlton's sideman in 2002.
After working with many different players, one combination found an amazing magic as they performed together. With Michael on guitar, Brice Williams on drums, Ross Krutsinger on bass and Geoff Koch on keys, a new core was formed that became One Street Over 2005. The magic is not lost on anyone who hears them and that chemistry has become the fuel that is propelling the group forward with a growing number of fans who hear them perform weekly in Clarksville, TN. "It's like we know what the other is thinking and we finish each other's sentences." Michael says of the group. "We are really having fun now and everyone feels it. We love to play together and folks are just eating it up."
